The Oasis at St. Margarets offers just what the name suggests, “a watering place” in the desert of life. The Oasis is a place for personal and spiritual growth, education, and building community through seminars, workshops, retreats, and small groups.

The Arkansas House of Prayer, a building dedicated to silence and prayer on the grounds of St. Margaret’s Episcopal Church, is the perfect companion for Oasis’ Christian renewal programs with its prayer gardens, walking paths in the woods, and labyrinth. 

The Oasis at St. Margaret’s was established by a generous gift from the estate of Carol Burns Smelley, who founded the Oasis Renewal Center in Little Rock in 1990. We are fortunate to extend her vision to the wider community.
